Crowpaw narrowed his eyes at the pushy apprentice. Guess Stagpaw couldn't take a hint, but then again that was to be expected wasn't it.
"Oh and how can you tell I'm sad huh? Maybe Im perfectly happy and you're just bad at reading my facial expressions." He responded drolly amused (for now) by the other cats perceptiveness. Then again Crowpaws general facial expression was grumpy so maybe Stagpaw thought that meant sad, how would he know.
Crowpaw twisted his head to look at the second intruder to his sulking, a kit this time. He raised an eyebrow at the kits swagger and bold questions
"A little young to be looking for a mate don't you think?" He teased only slightly less biting than his normal snarking.
"Well I wouldn't know, more interested in toms myself and not even then. But Im good at words and wit which usually means my playful flirting goes well but I've no clue if it translates to she cats so you're dead out of luck." He huffed out at the kit idly wondering if his rasping voice would scar this kit off like the last. He was amused by this interaction a little more than Stagpaws prodding but then again this was less hitting on Crowpaws issues.
"Sorry kid unless it's fighting your better off asking someon-" He only managed to get halfway through the sentence before Stagpaws agreeing cut him off, his steadily rising mood dropping at his conscription into kit minding.
"Well I guess we're helping you now." He deadpanned huffing in a wheezing sigh.
"Alright you two what do you even want to do?" He asked hauling himself to his paws and sitting more alertly.
