“Forelegs must be wider and you have to crouch lower. Haunches hover only a bit higher. Tail low to the ground... there. This is the best position, try to commit it to memory but don’t worry, I’ll keep correcting you for the next few lessons. Now, can you tell me the difference between hunting a mouse and hunting a bird?”

Quiverpaw stood there patiently as Heathernose adjusted her gently, her face scrunching up a bit in concentration to hold the position as long as her body would allow as well as listening to Heathernose explain what she was doing. When the other she-cat had finished, she knew what she meant by it being the best position - it felt good, better than moments before anyways.
Allowing her body to relax back into a normal position, she tried to tackle Heathernose's question. "Well, I know mice are super sensitive. They can feel vibrations in the ground, so you have to be careful to sneak upon them, tread very lightly and such." She meowed, pretty sure that was the correct answer. "As for birds, I imagine it has to do with the fact that they can fly? I don't know much about hunting them." The apprentice couldn't recall ever catching one, though she may have tried at some point and just didn't remember.
