Snadysplash watched him with interest. Then she flicked her tail with disdain and let out a laugh. "You're joking, right?" She snickered. "What kind of technique is that?" She had to teach this furball some manners. "You do it like this." After smellig for prey, she found another vole, farther away. She dropped down, her tail flat, her fur sleek, as she manuevered her way silently towards the vole. Finally, once in distance, she pounced and killed it with a swift bite to its neck before it let out a squeal. "That's how you properly catch prey." She told him through it, her mouth full of the rather plump vole.

“Mumble Mumble! Is that all you say?” He admired his mentors vole, but not her. “Hmph. Why does it matter? I caught prey, and that’s the point right?” He tilted his head. He heard a mouse scuttle past so he tried to slam it. He missed and it stood up on its hind legs, showed it teeth then ran away. “Great StarClan! How did I miss that” He then remembered the shape of the head, and how weird the tail was. “Wait a minute, that was a rat!” He shuddered. He heard stories of warriors dying from rats. “Should we hunt somewhere else Sandysplash?” He know knew what a mentor was for. Comfrort? Maybe.
