Featherstorm jumped, hearing someone come up behind her. The little fish swam away quickly, dashing her hopes of catching it. Sure it wouldn’t have been a gigantic meal, but it still would’ve fed someone. Angrily she she turned around to face the cat that had disturbed her hunt. Once she looked at him, she had a hard time staying mad. He was sort of handsome, kind of cute. She pushed away the thought though, trying to keep focus.
“Did you have to sneak up on me like that? I almost had that fish!” She said angrily. As he started to advance towards her, she backed away. She almost felt guilty for what she was doing. But she didn’t know who this tom was, what he would do, or where he was from. And his words were frightening her. “What do you mean you’ve been watching me? Are you some sort of stalker?” She said angrily. She didn’t let any of her fear shine through, and held herself strong. Taking a deep breath, she realized something she hadn’t before. His scent was off. “So, Obsidian, you don’t smell like a Riverclan cat. You don’t even smell like a clan cat! What are you? A rouge? A loner? What are you doing on Riverclan territory?!”
