DawnKits loud cries began to quiet down when her brother began to comfort her, she mewed softly, trying to open her eyes to see ChestnutKit. Her adrenaline suddenly dropped, and she was exhausted from stumbling around for only a few seconds. She softly purred as she felt her brothers warmth and protection. She fluttered her eyes open in his direction, maybe he would have the same reaction their mother did?
She had no idea why her mother had freaked out, and it scared her. She couldn't wait to grow up and figure out why. She could wait to be able to stand, and run, and play with her siblings too. She could feel her blood rushing, and the soft breaths that came out of her nose while her body tried to keep her steady. While she laid there, she began to fall asleep, her weak lungs breathing heavily as she fell into a quick nap.

Gorsebird let out a whimper mad at herself for lashing out at her kitten, "Oh Dawnkit, Mommy's so sorry for scaring you! Mommy was just worried that something was wrong with her little sunshine!" She comforted giving soft nuzzles to her, "Mommy lied when she said you we're hideous your just... different and beautiful very beautiful~" She whispered adopting a much softer sweet tone before relaxing and picking up Chestnutkit to start to groom him as well admiring his tabby pelt, "Will Chestnutkit open his eyes for Mommy? Mama wants her strong tom-kit to show her his handsome eyes~" Gorsebird beamed not knowing he already had and wanting nothing more than anything to brag that three of her premature kittens had opened their eyes on only the second day after their kitting, "If you do Mommy will make sure Daddy knows and he'll be so proud!" She doted hoping her firstborn would at least crack open his eyes for a moment or two.
