Ooooh look! Guests! Struggling for a moment to dislodge their tongue from a long piece of fur around Bumblebreaks ear they'd been (over) grooming the tripod eventually did, leaving the fluff a bit drooly as they chirped out a "Heya Treetiger! Im doing good! The coughing has stopped and though breathing still feels a bit hard at times thats better too! Leg dont hurt no more and now its just a bit stiff! Howre you? Doing ok? Meddie stuff can be stressful so be sure to take breaks and do non meddie stuff, if you wanna hang out Im right here hehehe~" Honestly given how well the tripod looked and how energetic they were they were probably good to move back to the warriors den, though common sense said they werent going without the rest of the cuddle puddle.

Though with how hyper they were all cooped up and refusing to leave there would be consequences. Ie: endless talking.

Peering at the herby work the tripod piped up to Dragonflypaw, trying to be helpful and chirping out a "Lotsa herbs are good for infection like chervil! Especially now in new leaf with everything blooming, Treetiger is right and smart though some herbs are better to stop it then like fixy it.
Marigold is the most common used but Springli- Spring" Prooooobably shouldntve mentioned that name around Bumblebreak " said that its not the strongest. Goldrenrod though helps stop the bleeding faster as well as the infectiony stuff though I dunno how but the flowers die in leaffall, like marigold. Theyre both chewy herbs though not eaty.

In a pinch I remember that honey can prevent infection buuuuuuut its so hard to get because bees are ow and better for like, eating for treating sore throats and coughing and giving energy and- oh! Viviviivivii! If drinking is too much maybe you should try honey! Its not water but it kiiinda helps hydra-something like water does but less and maybe its not mean to you like water." Beautiful logic there but honestly? The logic logiced, honey was thicker and not much like water so if Violetfreckle was on the brink of dehydration again maybe she could manage to drink the honey as a last ditch effort.

"Honestly I kinda know more bone healy herbs then infection. Huh." Funny that given they'd recently pulverized a now healed rib.

Because Mudhound was talking enough for the whole cuddle pile, Violetfreckle opted to stay mostly silent during this check-up. She watched the other cats scurry about and around as needed, trying to pay attention a little at the mention of herbs but honestly, not gleaning much from all the talking. The urge to just zone out overtook the gnawing feeling in her belly that told her it was foolish to rely on the medicine cats. Though the feeling was still there, of course. Vi couldn't just zone out guilt-free.

Speaking of Vi, there was her name coming a million miles per hour out of Mudhound's mouth. At this, she perked up with a small mrrp and considered. Honey? After a long pause, the tabby clicked her tongue. She'd forgotten her mouth was a bit dry. Then again, it was also just kind of something she'd grown used to by this point. She wasn't super dehydrated anymore—Mudhound and Bumblebreak had certainly helped that—but still. "Could try it," she finally mused, voice a bit raspy. Truthfully, Violetfreckle thought it was a waste of time and especially of honey considering the stuff was so hard to get. But she didn't quite have it in her to tell Mudhound that.

Vi hadn't quite realized she had been asked how she was doing. She thought this was a Bumblebreak checkup more than anything, to be honest. Which was necessary. If her mate died one more time, especially from something so preventable as negligence, Violetfreckle would become Violentfreckle. No guilty soul would be spared.

Mantispaw
Dragonflypaw looked up from where she was sorting herbs, ears twitching at her sister's voice. Tail flicking very slightly, the Medicine Cat Apprentice observed quietly at Treetiger spoke to her. Her mentor seemed to hate both her and her siblings- The cream speckled she-cat didn't know why, but someday, she would find out. With a slight twitch of her mouth indicating she tried to smile. Listening, the apprentice padded over, sunrise coloured eyes flashing. "Loss of appetite and throwing up." She murmured, commiting to memory. She could use them symptoms later on once they figured out what was wrong. She didn't know any illnesses really, so this was probably more Tree's problem to sort out. Dragonflypaw gave the tiniest purr to Mantis. "Hello sister." Is all she said.

Orangeflower
Dragonflypaw smelt the arrival of a new cat, an interesting smell, but didn't look up from where she was studying a poppy, carefully removing the bad seeds. At her mentor's call, however, the apprentice looked up, eyes flashing, and put the flower down before coming over. The dark russet and brown she-cat peered closely at the queen, eyes sharp. "I'm not sure. Some sort of stomach bug, maybe? Probably something else though, if she hasn't thrown up or anything." That was said with doubt in her voice. The apprentice didn't know enough to make any assumptions yet, so she simply committed the symptoms to memory so that she knew what they were for future reference. She stared after her mentor for a second when she left it look through the herb storage, wondering if she would mess up her perfectly ordered herbs again.

Drizzlepaw
Dragonflypaw wasn't actually doing much this time around- Just chilling, suppose. At her mentor's beckoning, the apprentice rose gracefully to her paws and glided over, yellow eyes bright, but still with that signature dark twinkle in them. She eyed the other apprentice with a mild, veiled interest, eyes sharp. With a twitch of her tail, she sat down near them, dainty paws tucked neatly under her curled tail. What was Drizzlepaw in here for, she wondered. He didn't look injured at all. Or even really sick.

Cuddle Puddle
Dragonflypaw was on her feet in an instant, sunrise coloured eyes flashing and alert. At Treetiger's words, the apprentice simply disappeared, melting out of the den to get prey. She picked up three pieces as per her instructions- Three plump mice. She figured they were big enough, since injured cats didn't usually eat much. She padded back in gracefully, tail twitching, and dropped the prey down nearby. Listening to Tree's instructions, she nodded, committing Chervil, to memory. With a glance to Bumblebreak, Dragonflypaw lifted the small leaves into her mouth, chewing steadily. They left a gross taste on her tongue, but she chewed them anyways.

After a moment, she gathered the cobwebs into her paws and spat out the herbs. With an internal grimace, she started applying them Bumble's wounds, eyes sharp with concentration. After a moment, she pressed slightly harder, hoping she didn't hurt the Hornet, and stuck them securely. Looking at Tree, she said, "Done." And waited.

Done.

Treetiger was pulled back to reality at Dragonflypaw's simple statement. That was only when she caught the yapping from Mudhound. Somehow, she got lost in her own little world and heard nothing from anyone but the one cat she actually wanted to hear from. So, while Mudhound's initial questions and statements would go unanswered, Treetiger did catch and retain the comments of Marigold and Goldenrod. Next, was honey. Her eyes flitted towards Mudhound momentarily, thinking on the herb storage. She was pretty sure she had some honey in there.

Refocus. The task at paw, first. Her gaze went over the work of Dragonflypaw, giving the apprentice a simple nod before her paws lazily dragged across the den floor towards the herb storage. "Offer them your prey items," she casually called over her shoulder as she pulled the sticky golden honeycomb from the storage. She'd break it in half, the goo dripping to the ground. She'd grimace at the feeling and mess before each half was placed on a large leaf. She'd carry one back over to Violetfreckle, plopping it in front of her. "Feel free," she pushed the leaf towards her, studying her reaction, but looking away if any eye contact was threatened.

"No pains? Requests?" she'd ask simply without breaking her focus on the warrior before her. The question was aimed at all three of them, only evident by the raised volume of her normally softer voice.
