˖✿˚⋆ The moonlight dappled the path beneath their paws as it travelled through the gaps of the tree leaves above them. Blocking out the full view of the night sky. Adderpaw glanced up as a salty scent reached her nose. It was unfamiliar, different to the smell of pine and damp earth that she was used to. The trees ahead seemed to dwindle out revealing an open stretch of land. The ground changed too. A lot more sand and not a lot of plants. Pale green eyes inspected the stretch of beach on either side of them. There didn't seem to be the presence of anyone other than her clan. That and there was no scent of Riverclan, Thunderclan or Windclan to hint at their arrival. So shadowclan was here first then. The braided tabby slowed her pace till she came to a stop, turning to look over her shoulder back at the russet apprentice that had accompanied her on her walk here. Despite being an apprentice for three moons now this would be her first gathering, it would be mushroompaw first gathering too. She liked the idea of sharing this experience with her friend by her side. The only cat in this clan she truly felt close with.

˖✿˚⋆ Her focus switched to the white flowers she had insisted on decorating the younger apprentices' fur with before they had come here. It matched her own flowers she had placed within the mass of fur that was her tail. She would have added brighter colors if those flowers she collected hadn't wilted. Such a tragedy. She had to make due with the white ones that grew near the clan's exit, though she wondered what type of flower mushroompaw would've preferred if given the option. If given the chance, Adderpaw would like to give her friend her favourite flowers- if she even had a favourite flower to begin with that is.

˖✿˚⋆ The braided tabby glanced back towards the beach and flicked her tail gesturing towards it. She had heard of small trinkets called shells that decorated territory like this and she would like to find one. Though she also didn't want to leave mushroompaw’s side so if the apprentice didn't want to do that she would understand.

Mushroompaw was excited! SO SO SO SO very excited! Though at the same time she was a little sad that Dovekit couldn't come along but hopefully her sister didn't mind too much in the end. Any day now, Dovekit would be able to come along with them. For now though, it would be just her and her best friend and that was good enough. The moon was beautiful and maybe Mushroompaw was a little sleepy, not used to staying up so late, but the gathering was definitely worth it.

The Shadowclan apprentice paused on the way down to the main portion of the seastones, just staying still and trying to take in each little detail as her clan flooded around her into the area. They all seemed to know what they were doing and so far it seemed that there were no other clans- and oh wow! Mushroompaw has heard so much about each clan but this would be her first time seeing any of them, even on patrol she hasn't seen any yet! ( though shes been on a herb patrol and a hunting patrol so perhaps it was better than she hadn't met any other clans. )

Eventually her attention was swept away from the view and was back on Adderpaw who was motioning down towards where the water met the sand all the way downnnnn thereeee. OH WOW! Mushroompaw hadn't even realized how close they were to the water, was this how Riverclan lived all the time? It was too cold to try and put her paws in the water but if Adderpaw wanted to see it closer than Mushroompaw would be very happy to do that.

"Wanna get closer?? I wanna see the sand and stuff, but I don't know how to swim- and also its a bit chilly even with all your pretty fur." Mushroompaw filled the air between the two easily, not blinking an eye at Adderpaw's means of communication, but maybe when they were in the sand it would be easier for Adderpaw to talk because you can draw easier in sand... at least, that's what Mushroompaw has heard about sand. Oh that was the sound of new paws...

Had she been standing there so long that the other clans were arriving and making their way through the crowds?? Crazy.
