Mothflame was completely fine. Wait, no. She wasn't completely fine. There were still issues with her damned leg, but other than that, she was fine! That was all the more reasons she should stop thinking about it. Maybe it was just sore. She didn't think it would be much of a bother.

So when Dragonflypaw of all cats decided she was the perfect victim of small-talk, her ears (or what was remaining of it) pinned against her head. She showed no signs of hostility, but she wanted to know why she was being approached by the medic. Any other apprentice, and she'd have assumed it was for training.

"Yes I was," the she-cat nodded, eyeing Dragonflypaw. "Can I help you?"
