Weepingkit shuddered slightly as he was nudged awake from his sleep. Or, was he? The tom opened his eyes to a starry clearing, unlike anything he had seen before. As his eyes flickered open, he turned and looked around, his eyes landing on the starry pelt of his mother.

"M-m-mom-ma," he choked out, sorrow filling him. She was here. She was dead, but she was here. The tom bounded over to her, burying his face into her shoulder. His mottled black and white pelt sparkled in the starlight. "Everyone's gone," he cried. "I don't know what to do," the tom sobbed.
