Quill gave his kit a look If I join, rooster has to come too, i aint leaving my kit alone in the forest. he woudnt be mad if rooster wasnt allowed in he would just go find a new place to stay, If rooster didnt want to join quill woudnt join, if rooster wanted to go and was allowed in he would join.
