"I'll get flowers." Maggotpaw resists the urge to stamp its feet and whine that Mosspaw is doing things out of order and that it wants to know about Catchingflame, already. Mosspaw looks all worn and weary, so whatever the story is, it won't be as good as it could be if he slept on it first.

"Sleep tight, Mosspaw. I'll know if you don't, okay? So watch out." Maggotpaw nudges him toward the apprentices' den firmly and then clears out, itself, after the news of the barncats rolls in. It's a little curious about them, but mostly they just sound stupid. Besides—Maggotpaw can't fight. They'll happily let other cats address this potential hazard and collect the stories later.

So maybe she'd been emulating a drowsy slug, squeaking out encouraging and celebratory feedback whenever appropriate so far in the background that there'd've hardly been any minding her at all buuuuuut,

Whiterabbit makes a little white missile-on-legs of herself at the call to stick around in order to visit the strangers on their land. She bounces up right alongside Birchfawn, who's got the same idea in mind.

"I would also like to come!"
