The Plot

Part 1 - The beginning

 

It all started when an outsider met a clan cat, a cute story of love began to unfold. The clan cat offered the outsider to join the clan, stay with them but the outsider couldn't dream of joining the clan, too many cats, too much responsibility, too much relying on others. The meetings continued but the clan cat did not falter with their offers. It was only moons later after the outsider's belly swell did she admit she was with kits. What she expected was joy, happiness, love. What she got instead was anger.

The clan cat refused to call the kits his own, said he never wanted to see the outsider again. To add salt to injury he even chased her out of the clan territory, swearing to chase her out if she ever came back. Confused and heartbroken, the outsider fled and some moons later gave birth to a litter of three. Yet she wasn't happy to have the kits anymore. In fact all she felt while looking down at them was hate, hate that these scraps of fur had ruined her relationship. By the age of three moons, the outsider began to distance herself from her kits, not playing with them, not bothering to look at them and by 4 moons it only got worse.

Any time the kits tried to get close to their mother, they were told off with a hiss, the looks they received from their mother never holding any love, multiple times she wouldn't even bring them food. The eldest taught herself to hunt for her siblings, but there was only so much she could do as a kit. With the little food she managed to get, she'd feed her siblings, skipping meals until one day she passed away.

Part 2 - The new family

 

The two remaining kits stayed with their mother, hoping to get some kind of love as they learned new skills, yet still they were invisible. One day the outsider met a runaway kittypet. The kittypet obviously having no knowledge about life in the wild joined the family. What was originally supposed to be a moon of learning the basics turned into staying with them full time.

The older the first litter got the closer their mother and the kittypet grew. One day there was an attack. A young fox trying to take them on for rights over their den. The two cats from her litter and the kittypet all fought, mostly the two kits of her litter. In the end they chased the fox off but not without the causality of the kittypet. Expecting praise for chasing off a threat, the two cats were met with hate from their mother were she revealed she was carrying kits, blaming them both for the fact these kits wouldn't have a father.

As more time passed, the day of the birth came, everything went well. Four healthy kits, but the difference, the outsider's eyes shone with love. It had the flames of rage burning in the hearts of both the first litter kits, but for different reasons. One felt hatred for their mother, for not showing them the light of day because of something they had no control of, the other a hatred towards this new group of kits that had earned their mother's love without even trying.

Call it karma if you will but not longer after the kits had finished weening off of their mother, more foxes attacked. With kits to think of the family couldn't risk a fight and had to flee their home, but not without some injury, more specifically to the mother. With none of the cats having any medicinal knowledge, the mother lost her fight to infection.

Part 3 - Revenge

 

With their mother gone, OHS2(Older half sibling 2) proposed the two of them take care of the kits. While not at all pleased with the idea, OHS1(older half sibling 1) decided to agree. The two raised their half siblings with the tension between OHS1 and their siblings only rising. The knowledge that their mother had loved a group of kits who's father couldn't even fight for his own life while she had turned her back of them and watched their sibling starve without batting an eye flipped a switch.

OHS1 freaked out, attacking the oldest first born of the new litter with brutal efficiency. OHS2 who was out on a hunt came back to the body of the oldest kit on the ground and OHS1 attacking the other three kits. OHS2 got into a fight with their sibling, giving the three kits a chance to flee. While trying to give the kits a chance to flee OHS1 ends up striking a fatal blow. (intentional or unintentional is up to the person).

Part 4 - The aftermath

 

After witnessing the death of their oldest sibling and attacked by OHS1, the remaining three kits fled. While on the run the three find something, ton of mouse holes and with it mouse bile. The runt of the group has them roll in the bile before they continue to flee. On their own and covered from nose to tail in the terrible smell in an attempt to hide their scent, they come up with ideas.

Tarantula hearing about the existence of clans wants to go join one, while one of her other siblings believes trusting random cats would be a death sentence. Tarantula though has her mind set on the idea. Now the three siblings must decide. Do they all join a clan together, or is this where they split off.

Needed Characters
Older half sibling 1 - This cat is among the first litter and will have a strong dislike for the younger litter. This cat should be young adult age, any gender.

Older half sibling 2 - This cat is also part of the first litter. This cat's anger will not be directed towards the younger litter unlike their sibling. This character will die later in the plot so do keep this in mind. Cat should be young adult age, any gender

Sibling 1 - This is one of Tarantula's litter siblings, should be two moons and can be any gender

Sibling 2 - This is the oldest of Tarantula's litter siblings and will die later in the plot, should be two moons and can be any gender

Sibling 3 - This is the runt of Tarantula's litter siblings, should be two moons and can be any gender.

All 6 cats have the same mother but the two half siblings have a different father from the 4 kits so keep that in mind when making a character. The first litter can have medium to long length fur while the second litter can have short to medium length fur.

Color wise, the first litter has more freedom since it isn't specified the fur color of their father but the mother did have a black color scheme going on. For the second litter a reference photo of Tarantula is below.

 

Final Notes
This roleplay will take place after a month of the two raising the kits. I am hoping time wise for it to take around two months before OHS1 has their breakdown.

When the three remaining kits flee and decide whether to join a clan or not, Tarantula will have her mind set on leaving, it is up to the other two roleplayers whether they would like their cats to join a clan as well or stay outsiders. Another thing if you do decide to join a clan, they can also choose to join the same clan or join different ones.

This plot was one of the many plot ideas I had come up with while I was on my hiatus.

When making a character, go ahead and put some detail into it, give me an idea of who Tarantula's siblings are going to be. This is not a first come first serve finder so don't feel like you have to rush. Currently the selection date will be on the 20th of June 10pm PST. With that. Have at it with your characters!
