"Thank you." Perhaps it was fate, that she ended up approaching another apprentice who seemed to be rather shy. Sprucepaw settled down, making sure to sit not too close. She didn't want to make Spiderpaw too uncomfortable by invading her space, since she was already imposing on her. The silence that settles felt awkward. There was little she knew about the apprentice, outside of seeing her on occasion. "Um... how goes your training? Oh, sorry, my name's Sprucepaw."

Spiderpaw's attention turned back up to look at Owlstar as the other apprentice took her seat, a more than comfortable distance from her. She was momentarily comfortable with the silence... then she realized that she was probably supposed to... say something? Her ears grew a bit hot as she tried to think of something to say. Anything would probably be good...

She was, however, saved by Sprucepaw starting, then introducing herself. "Oh... I'm Spiderpaw..." She mewed. Come on, Spiderpaw... She worked so hard to get more comfortable with her clanmates... Why was it never any easier? "Uhm... It's going pretty well... I have all the basics out of the way. I'm mostly just working... on trying to do advanced stuff... before my assessment." That was a lot of talk. Was she talking too much? Maybe she should've just left it at getting all the basics done. Did it sound like she was bragging? She really wasn't that much older than Sprucepaw.

"W-what about you?" Spiderpaw asked, trying to quickly veer away from talking about herself.
