"Hi, Seapaw." Beaverpaw said quietly "I'm.. good, you?"
Before he knew it, Adderstrike was here.
He also greeted her with a small "Hi."

And soon, they had left.
Adderstrike had told them to be mindful of their surroundings, and then it was time to start looking.

Beaverpaw looked around first, before he started moving a bit.
Cobwebs are easier to recognize, and Berryshine had at least shown them the juniper berries, so this shouldn't be... too hard.

[Roll=19]
He finds a few cobwebs easily, and sticks nearby.
So, he collected what he found so far.

The apprentice nodded. He'd been feeling a lot better lately. "Yea, I'm good. Happy to be on a herb patrol." A calm smile spread across their face. It was, true, they were happy - herb patrols were always a good time, especially their last one with Eaglewing and Rainwish. He did often manage to get called onto these, didn't he? He liked to hope it was 'cus he always brought his herbs back on time, but who knows. No more thinking, though, Adderstike was here. "Hiya," he greeted her, then followed her out into territory.

Beaverpaw was quick to go searching, he'd forgotten how quiet his denmate could be. Not that it bothered them, quiet friends were always nice. Even more so, considering all the time Seapaw themself spent daydreaming away. Adderstrike gave a brief explanation about being mindful, which spooked them a little bit. They didn't often think too much about being careful in the territory. Definitely around the border, but on their own land?! Trouble could be anywhere, couldn't it?

They nodded, though, and went on their own little herb hunt. Berryshine had suggested using sticks to collect cobwebs, which was smart. So, they looked around till they found one of those first. A small willow sat beside the river, so they ducked under it's dangling branches, and grabbed a couple sticks from just below it. Now, they just needed to find some cobwebs! He went to duck back through and - "EEEK!" Perhaps Adderstrike's warning had put him on edge, or maybe it would've surprised him just as much without her words. Entangled in the branches ahead of his face, was a giant spiderweb, hosting an equally giant spider. Well, it depends how you class giant. It was actually very skinny, not very dangerous looking. But it's legs were soo long, and it was right in front of his face. "Oh, erm, i'm okay! Just a spider!" They called, realising that their sudden reaction was probably a bit... Startling.

A sigh of relief left him. "Ohhh kay, Mr Spider, I err, I just need you to move a little bit." He stared at it blankly. Of course, it had no idea what he was saying. "Sorry in advance..." He muttered, before blowing air at the spider. But - oh dear, it held its own quite easily, clinging onto it's web despite the wind. Another sigh. "Sorry little guy." They batted around it with a paw, making it scurry away quickly. They didn't want to scare the little creature! But it was the only choice, wasn't it? They picked up one of their twigs from the ground, and collected it using the stick. "Erm, sorry little spider, thank you for your home!" he whispered, grabbing his other stick as he escaped the dangling tendrils of the willow. Just as luck would have it, there was another spider web on the outside of the branches, this one without an inhabitant. So, he collected it up.

[+ 2 cobwebs/ cobweb sticks]

Next, juniper berries. They knew they were after dark green bushes. Couldn't be too far. They travelled away from the river, toward the patrol, keeping an eye out for anything that matched that description. He saw one dark green bush - but, ah no berries, mustn't be the one. So he carried on, till - aha! They sprinted up to it. A dark green bush, with purple-bluey berries. The apprentice plucked three - as many as he could carry. "Beaverpaw!" They called out excitedly, "do you need any juniper berries?

[+3 juniper berries]
