he was padding behind spiderpaw [pp perms granted by namen], and hopefully crowpaw too. he did not want to get in trouble for the apprentices getting hurt, and the best way to watch them is to be behind them.

"alrigh'. y' lot saw borage 'n chervil, remember that chervil has jagged leaves, chervil is a paler green, delicate leaves as well. if ya grab a plant similar t' chervil 'n its bitter, thats parsley, not chervil." if they asked how he knew this, he would keep quiet. give and get. he kept an eye on the apprentices, but turned to​ go hunt for some herbs. and he very quickly realized that this starsdamned seagrass would bother him and his already soggy paws. in any case, he quickly found some chervil and nipped off three stems of it.

now for borage, he glanced over his shoulder to make sure that he could still see the two 'paws, and continued to search for the herb. the star-shaped blue flower caught his eye relatively quickly, and he plucked two stems.
