roachflare coughed awkwardly as if that would make the group move to dawning woods finally. that didnt seem to work so they just started moving towards the exit on their own, hoping newtbelly and silentpaw would follow. pawsteps fading more and more into the sounds of nature, he barely remembered either of the two plants. but some plants just looked like their names so maybe it wouldnt be so hard..
they arrived at dawning woods before long, the tell-tale thinning of foliage obvious in the way it blinded them, eyes squinted to adjust.

they could vaguely remember the purple flowers. pointy leaves.. how many were there? five maybe? within the pointy leaves a darker centre and five deep green spikey things rested. it shouldnt be hard to find.
turns out, it wasnt. bug only grabbed the wrong plant once, promptly realising it was not right when it stung him, paw exploding into itching. a lot more carefully that time, roach succeeded when he found two of the spikey purple flowers.

Oh - Roachflare was already off and away. And he thought he was a cat of few words. Newtbelly took one last look at the herbs, taking an extra look at the new one - Burdock Root - then got ready to go. "Let's head out then," he gave Silentpaw, a small flick with his tail. He followed bug into the territory, soon making it to the Dawning Woods. Just two herbs. Couldn't be that hard, right? Borage wasn't a herb he'd forget any time soon. It was one of the few he could actually remember properly.

He wandered around for a bit, hoping to come upon some of the bluey-purple blossoms. With New-Leaf arriving, it had to be easier to find. Surely. After some circling, his eyes finally fixed upon a clump. That had to be it. He came closer, giving it a good look. Though he didn't have much faith in his herb identification skills, this certainly looked exactly how he remembered borage to look. He grabbed a couple stems, just happy that he'd found anything at all.

Burdock root, though, seemed a lot harder to find. And he assumed there was a whole thing about digging the root up. "Silentpaw?" He glanced over his shoulder, hoping the medicine apprentice was about. "Do you know how we get this burdock root stuff?" He could dig about like a lunatic, or he could ask the literal medicine apprentice they had with them. He much preferred the latter option.
