What She blinked, eyes opening. She'd been having an afternoon nap, to be honest. Sure that Dad was about to arrive back in glory, and maybe teach them all some fun otter combat tricks. There was commotion. Beetlepaw was scrambling away. There was a smell, too. A smell that drowned out all other smells. It knocked her sick. It were as though she'd smelt it before. She didn't know when, but it was like it was... Speaking to a memory? Somewhere deep within. A memory she couldn't remember. This terrible, dreadful smell. Was it... No. No. She only had once guess, and she didn't like it at all. Briarberry.

She got to her paws the instant it hit her. Though, she was nowhere near as fast as Beetlepaw. She sort of stumbled her way out the den, eyes still adjusting to the light. Beetlepaw had stopped now and - oh, no, he was going again. Slower this time though. And dad - ... She'd never seen so much blood in her life. She felt even sicker. Time stopped, as Butterfly appealingly said something to Beetlepaw. She couldn't make out what.

There was only one thing she could do: join her siblings. It was a slow walk. Like she didn't know how to move. Like she wasn't meant to be moving. And she said nothing. She just sat herself next to Wasppaw, and stared at the scene. Total silence. Not a common thing for her.
