rookfire had lingered relatively close to sleepysunrise after delivering his own herbs, watching with displeasure as a whole lot of patrols showed up late, including silentpaw. stars if he hadnt already thought the medicine cat apprentice wasnt worthy of the position he would now at last. in his opinion, something as simple as reporting his patrol on time should be among the responsibilities he could keep up with. his white tipped ear flicked as sleepysunrise scolded him for tardiness. good for her. ideally, she'd have reason to demote him soon and get a more suited apprentice.

as darkpaw, tuftedtusk (stars above) and willowwood showed up late as well, rookfire stood. he held his tongue, letting sleepysunrise do the scolding but stepped closer. good for nothing enforcer was pretty fitting. there was a reason rookfire had originally challenged him anyway.

"willowpaw, tuftedpaw, we'll head out and practice how to properly patrol." he ordered with a cock of his head in sleepysunrises direction, silver eyes flicking to darkpaw latekit. he was lucky for now, demoted to kit he'd get to skip the patrol. well enough, two cats were a decent number for a patrol anyway. perhaps latekit, if he had a history of being late, would get a opportunity to head out alongside them next time. though, ideally there wouldnt be a 'next time' if he got himself sorted out.
