"I'd be pretty honored and nervous to train my mentor's kit. It might be strange, but I don't think you've given anyone a reason to doubt you." It was certainly a pretty big honor to be chosen by any parent to specifically train their kit, but she could see how daunting it could also be.

He took another bite of his frog, then sighed. "I hope so." She had a point, and it was probably right, but it was hard to be convinced. Still, with Stempaw doing so well, he shouldn't doubt himself. He continued to munch on his meal, letting a silence wash over the two as he ate. Hm, it was a nice day today. The cold was going away, slowly but surely. "Thanks for the chat. I appreciate it." He'd finished his food by now, and was standing up to stretch his limbs out. "Good luck with Morningpaw, I'm sure you'll do great together."
