Owletkit sat unusually still in the clearing, eyes looking out for her next vict- erm, friend. To play with. Or a warrior's tail to jump on. But the stars must have blessed her this fine day! There in the clearing sits Owlstar, a shining beacon. Ignoring the other interesting grey-furred felines, the little kit made a beeline for the leader. She dropped into a playful crouch and kept a narrowed gaze at Owlstar's tail, waiting for the perfect moment to tackle it. The last time she'd done it, she had yelled and completely defeated the purpose of "sneaking up". So this time, she'd be EXTRA quiet!

She... Kind of... Failed? Ish?

Owletkit leapt forward, paws aimed to grasp Owlstar's tail and let out a little-too-loud "HAH! GOTCHA!" As she did so. Oh well, she'd learn eventually.

At first, she'd thought somekit was getting murdered, or maybe playing too rough. The sound of a yowl came to her ears first, then the words formed in high tones, which only caused her eyes to widen and ears perk. She looked around the clearing, but quickly identified the sound of a squealing kit from behind her, so the tabby turned her head.

The impact of tiny paws hitting her matted tail wasn't much. Craning her head to look at the kit, Owlstar smiled toothily. "Aye, good aim." she batted the kit by the forehead, paws light and harmless. "But ya cain't really make any noise with an ambush."

She knew this kit, Owletkit. She had to know, right? So, she made sure she did (even if it boggled her brain sometimes. Owlkit and now Owletkit? Maybe she'd have to start cracking down on names...). Even after one interaction alone, she could gather the kind of cat Owletkit was in her line between kithood and apprenticeship. "What if I teach ya how ta really startle, eh?" Rowanmane was easy to scare. Maybe she could let him be the guinea pig. Owlstar was all for evil plots.
