fishpaw followed behind the group and separated slightly to go on and hunt for some prey. sniffing the air fishpaw found the scent of a bird and stalked towards it, it seemed like a black bird of some kind. crouching low fishpaw launched herself at the bird biting its neck and killing it, one prey down one more to go. Sniffing the again and catching the scent of a mouse tracking it through a bush fishpaw saw it chewing on some kind of nut. Fishpaw lowered herself down and punched on the mouse snapping its neck in her mouth.

fishpaw grabbed her prey items and headed back to the group.

Looks like the group was doing well. He had a quick stretch, before looking for his next catch. The scent of prey was till plentiful, and he could hear something scuffling. So, he crept toward the sound, each paw placed as quiet as possible. There it was! A squirrel, scurrying up the base of a tree. The tom bundled his haunches under him, before leaping. [rolled: 3]. But, his claws fell short. And the creature was scurrying further and further up. Stars, what a mess. He got himself together, shaking some leaves and bark from his pelt. Ah well, the next would be a hit. He crept on, till he happened upon yet another squirrel. New-leaf must be bringing them out. [rolled: 1]. Was luck not on his side today? Or were his hunting skills not what he thought they were. Ugh.

Thankfully, his noise had startled a mouse out of hiding, which he quickly lept toward, claws out. [rolled: 16] There we go. He was happy with that. Just one more catch, and they'd be ready to head back, he reckoned.
