Nightshiver roused from within the nursery and stepped outside. Where usually she would watch the meeting from inside or the edges of the kits' den, this was a very special meeting. Her eldest daughter would most certainly be receiving her name at this time, with her assessment completed, and Nightshiver couldn't withhold the excitement bubbling within her. She felt so proud of her children, reaching the age of warriors, and was happy to spot Lionpaw socialising some ways away by the front of the meeting. And with Hollowpaw, too! Nightshiver smiled, keeping to the meeting's edges, but like the mother she was she tried to catch her children's eye and gave them a little wave (Hollowpaw included). She hoped seeing them all together meant that Lionpaw and Fishpaw set aside their differences.

Positioning her paw back on the ground, mismatched eyes glanced over the gathering cats; she often sat with the young, keeping an eye on them from near the nursery, but this time she sought out a specific father. He must be so proud, too, she was certain of it; his children, his apprentices, they were all growing up so fast. Older paws lifted from the ground to move towards the enforcer commander should she spot him, and greet the tom with a little lick just beneath the side of his ear.
