Hm? Patrols? Ah, and he was on hunting. That was good, he’d been growing more fond of it lately. Perhaps it came with training his apprentices, having to pay attention to every little thing that goes into a hunt. It was just as demanding as a fight, or sneaking about the forest. He would have regarded it as far more menial in his younger moons. Still a task he enjoyed, but he hadn’t been appreciating just how much he could do with it. And of course, he was always happy to visit the Dawning Woods.

The tom made his way over, awaiting his group. Perhaps it was real, or perhaps it was just a manifestation of his anxiousness - but since the most recent enforcer challenge, he couldn’t help but feel ShadowClan’s eyes were fixated on each and every enforcer. Ambition ran through this clan like veins. He’d need to watch himself, even more than usual.

No apprentices today. Just himself, Rockjaw, Sleepysunrise and Quietmouth. Hoepfully, he'd do a decent job hunting, and show Sleepysunrise that he isn't a total loser. He needed to after that jerb patrol. Quietmouth, he recalled, was deaf. He could see the tom now, lingering in the clearing. Perhaps he hadn't read Mistelwhisker's lips - if that was something he did? The enforcer made eye contact with the warrior, and beckoned him over by jerking his head. With patrol groups forming around them, it seemed pretty clear what was going on. The other two, he'd wait for.
