When Freezekit was 3 moons old, a cat taunted him about his blindness, saying that he's useless. Freezekit got the idea to go out hunting, to prove that he isn't useless. He almost caught a rabbit... except a small dog found him and began chasing him. He ran and ran and ran until he fell. He fell into the tunnels. Luckily the dog couldn't reach him, but he was trapped. Trying not to panic, he managed to find the way out. He couldn't smell the familiar scent of Windclan anymore. He didn't know where he was.

Moons passed. He tried to avoid any twolegplaces, though the few times he doesn't, he never went far. He met a few cats early on who helped him to learn how to hunt, albeit not very well. He didn't stay with them for long.
He passed through forests occasionally in addition to open moor. He gained a few scars during his travels, whether from running into things he couldn't see or predators or other cats. Sometimes he went into the tunnels again, and that was eventually how he found Windclan again.

During his moons of travel, he's gotten more mature... Kind of. At least he's never gonna let mentions of his blindness drive him to drastic measures that break the warrior code anymore. He's also grown more self-aware, and will secretly start to doubt himself.


Freeze wont realize he likes Windy for a very long time, and it will develop gradually, first starting out as a need to socialize... as he'd be avoiding any and all cats.

Since Windpaw is like the only cat Freeze knows, he might seek her out a few times for fear of socializing and meeting other cats... He really doesn't want a repeat of what happened. He's secretly afraid of rejection, and he knows Windpaw wont reject him.


Freeze is frustrated by how he missed 2 whole moons of training.

He hates feeling helpless
