── .✦ ➜Houndpaw glanced between Briarsplash and Hillstrider. It looked a little like Hillstrider was right in his opinion, because it was the first time he had ever saw someone get expression to falter a little bit when he got all close. Like Miss Mistle did when talking to Mama. He did not acknowledge this, though, because he didn't want to point it out and be wrong. He HATED being wrong.

With an excited yip, the apprentice followed the patrol out of camp swiftly. A part of him wanted to run ahead of Briarsplash because it felt so SLOW MOVING. Like they were SNAILS!!!! Still, he kept on bouncing along until they arrived at the wetlands. The ground was all squishy. It was a lil funny.

"YES MA'AM!!!" Houndpaw barked at the Enforcer and then he immediately took off running into the territory. One could ensure he would be completely the fact he had to stay close. HE WANTED TO EXPLORE. And bring back food.

It didn't take long for the apprentice to catch the ribbiting of a frog in a small pond, resting on a rotten log. It took a moment to find his way through the reeds, but once he caught sight he dropped into a little bit of a sloppily hunter's crouch. He licked his lips, pulling himself through STEALTHILY!!! And he WAITED until he was sure the wind was down, keeping him HIDDEN .. and he waited.... before POUNCE!!!!!!

Houndpaw landed on the frog, splashing muddy water everywhere on him before sinking his teeth into the tough skin. It let out a dying croak.
