Despite the fact that it was only mid day Crowtooth felt tired, as if it'd instead been far longer without rest. The work wasnt that exhausting, all told. He'd just been walking with Leechscar when they'd found her body, Leechscar had been sent to dispose of the outsiders corpses and find the remainder (if he still lived), Crowtooth had taken Silverroses body to the meadow and dug a grave, placing her in it but not filling it, then he'd gone to fetch... Well anyone who it felt right to have there, giving them the short explanation of "Silverrose is dead, Im sorry. We're holdin' a funeral at the starry meadow if ya'd like ta come. More will be explained there." Though Twilightstar did of course get the full tale.


And now here they were. Crowtooth sat with Leechscar back from his errand, Twilightstar, and Lightningstorm waiting to see if any of the others informed showed.


He didnt blame them if not. Grief was oddly personal and some might instead want to visit the grave later alone, but he'd wait to see if they showed regardless. Barleypaw, Hawkfur, and Lightningpaw were invited and between long melancholy looks at the limp form resting in the grave the deputy looked up to check if they were coming.
