- - - The she-cat stifled a huff. Jeez, was the apprentice never there when they were needed? She made her way back to Sleepysunrise, striped tail flicking its tip. She gave the medic a shake of her head. "Was. But not." He was there, at first, actually showed up and participated in the patrol, but he didn't seem to have the sense to report it.
"Look?" She asked, voice terribly hoarse. As much as she definitely didn't want to go back into the cold, all she wanted was to warm up actually, having an apprentice get lost so often had to be a concern. So, if she had to go, she would.

Nightpaw followed the rest of the patrol back into camp, stalling slightly near the entrance to camp. He was starting to get a little tired, after all, he’d woken up a lot earlier this morning than usual and hadn’t slept so well. Realising that he was a fair bit behind now, Nightpaw started picking up the pace as he approached, though the rest of the patrol had already reported. He heard Sleepysunrise call out his name as she looked around for him.
Nightpaw approached his mentor, placing the herbs down in front of her before taking a few steps back. "Sorry…I'm here now."

Her eye settled on Nightpaw when he finally returned to camp, and her eyes slowly darkened into a scowl. She turned her attention on the apprentice, ignoring Mudflap, as she pondered. She thought about letting it slide; he had brought an adequate amount of herbs and apologised, but this was her apprentice, and had been an apprentice for too long.
"You will be standing guard tonight. Outside my den."
Her voice hitched as she 'my den', mind flickering to her mother in a sickening motion and churning her stomach.
"Report to me in the morning. Leave, and you will be standing guard until the new moon."
[ @/Seamrog - Nightpaw has been given a minor punishment for his tardiness - he is expected to stand guard outside of the medicine cat's den without leaving his post or sleeping. You have until January 31st to make one (1) post of him standing guard and reporting to Sleepy in this thread. Failure to do so will result in harsher punishing. If you have any questions or issues, contact me at any time! ]
