Hollypaw jumped, looking at Applepaw with wide eyes. He had never really been approached by anyone, especially not with such energy. The mostly white apprentice straightened up a bit, regaining his composure. He flashed a small smile as he listened to Applepaw speaking. It didn't surprise him that Day was receiving such high praise, most cats who talked to his mom liked her- At least up to this point. It did surprise him that she'd talked about him before, he guessed it was to be expected though as she was his mother. A soft sigh escaped his maw as he carefully listened, waiting patiently for her to be done before responding
"Yeah- That's me" He said, his tail tip flicking behind him. He hummed, thinking momentarily, trying to identify which apprentice of his mother's this was
"You're uh- Applepaw right?" He said, squinting as he looked his clanmate up and down. They didn't seem to 'Ashpaw' at least based on descriptions his mother had mentioned in passing.
He turned his attention back to Twilightstar, watching the new apprentices come forward and be named. He called out their names as they were called out, his gaze then fell on Vinepaw, quirking a brow curiously. Was he becoming a warrior? Hollypaw couldn't wait until the day he finally was made a warrior, having true freedom. Being allowed to leave camp unaccompanied meant that he could go out whenever he wanted, and he wouldn't always feel cooped up in camp.
After a moment he turned back to Applepaw
"How has your training been going? she's a pretty good mentor from what I've seen" He glanced down at his paws for a second before looking back towards Applepaw, his head tilted.
"My training has been pretty good- I don't hear from Tawnyowl too much though- My mom has been taking care of a lot of Fallenpaw and my training on top of you and Ashpaw" He said, looking back towards Twilightstar, though his attention was still mostly on Applepaw.
