Small black ears instantly flicked
as Fawnpaw shivered awake. Scrunching
her nose, she awkwardly sat
up. She attempted to duck
from Owltalons paw, making her
almost fall forwards.
When the words ‘training’
entered her ears, she brightened
up instantly. “Don’t you think
it’s a bit too early?”
She realised she was kinda
being a lazy bum, twitching
her whiskers in embarrassment. “Yeah,
I’m up for it!”
Her nervous twitching may have
woken a few apprentices, but
that didn’t stop her from
being excited.
