"Alright," he shook his fur out, thinking of the next thing to teach. Something that would help him if he was thrown into battle, ideally. Grab and hold always seems worth it. Though, Newtbelly wasn't eactly the best target for this. Oh well. He was sure he wouldn't drop the kid. "One tactic that's great for apprentices, and just smaller cats, is the grab and hold," he explained. "It's pretty self explanatory. You jump onto the bigger cat's back, and hold on. That way they have no way to reach you. It works great in a group, too." He recalled the apprentice's fear of heights, but surely his back wasn't too high, right? "You can try it out, if you wanna?" He leaned a little, shoulder anfgled so the 'paw could see where to jump. "I won't do any of the kicking and thrashing you'd find in an actual battle so don't worry about that."
