"Take back everything you ever said / You never meant a word of it / You never did"

Herringfin, tell us a little about yourself.
"I've always thought of myself as a little behind everyone else... I'm trying to do better. My mentor always said I was three steps behind cats my age! Haha! Well, I try my best to keep up now. I should really be out now, actually, I was going to go fishing."

A few more questions. How do you feel about younger cats?
"I really feel for the underdog. I try to help as many kits and apprentices as I can, it's the least I can do after all the trouble I caused my mentor. Taking the young ones off of other cat's hands for a spell... I want them to feel appreciated, y'know?"

Have you ever had someone look up to you?
"Oh! How funny! You have jokes, huh? No, no, I... don't believe so. If I have, I would feel sorry. I'm really not the best cat to choose to look up to... Were you being serious?"

You're free to go, Herringfin. Feel free to leave us with a parting quote!
"Well... I suppose the best you can do is work your hardest. Try not to overwork yourself. Goodbye."

Herringfin is twenty moons old and doubtful of her own abilities. However, she would do anything for younger cats to never see themselves as she sees herself. I wanted to present her as maybe a rolemodel for Fawnpaw, as it would also help her with her own self-esteem issues if there was a younger cat that looked up to her. Maybe even as an "older sister" type role, even if they aren't biologically related.
