Newtbelly made sure to take the nettles for a quick dip, brushing the hairs off as Mossfreckle instructed. Soon enough, he saw the patrol was heading back.
He trailed into camp after the others. They'd made it back to camp unscathed, but, where was Hollowpaw? He couldn't help but feel a twinge of nervousness in his chest, and a slight worry that the warriors of the patrol would be taking the blame for this. Was it their fault if the kid was incompetant? Or, had they gotten lost? He didn't want to consider the possibility. The tom made his was to Mossfreckle, placing the herbs down.
