In the clearing they finally reached the sun looked nice and warm on its patch. Luckily for himself, he hadn’t learned any hunting. He hadn’t learned much of anything, other than learning how to get some sense knocked into himself, or some fear? More of that than anything. He carefully watched as the medicine cat apprentice instructed him on how to crouch, stalk, and pounce. It appeared…easy enough? Hopefully at least, looks were deceiving. He learned that lesson.

He followed what RookFire did, crouching low, keeping his tail above the ground. His footwork may be a bit sloppy, his body a bit too high, but not horrid. Plenty of room for improvement of course. Now he had to try and…kill. It’s okay…he could do it. It’s just a piece of prey, of course…yeah, yeah that was it. Wait- he should confirm his crouch is correct first, right? “Is this…good?” he questioned.
