Silentpaw let out a strangled noise, completely out of his control, but quickly regained the strength to keep other pitiful noises from spilling. He nodded his head rather quickly, trying his hardest not to seem like a weak kit. He wasn't! He wasn't a kit anymore. He was an apprentice now. He shouldn't be scared of heights out of all things!

Taking yet again another deep breath, Silentpaw reached upwards to pull himself from the branch, this time knowing where his paws should go. He grabbed onto the nearest branch he could find, digging his claws into it and slowly pulling himself onto it. He tucked his paws underneath his belly, balancing himself on the branch. He looked back to Newtbelly.
