His paws stung a bit from the hike here but it was worth it! He had managed to recollect his emotions and thoughts, now everything was okay again! Sorta. Sure Fadingstar was gone but he never like the tom anyway, that was a lie, and no Dusklion would become leader which was good! Even though it didn't feel quite right to him he'd get over it soon enough. He was excited to see the new camp but not really ecstatic over the fact it would be in rocks like at the mountains. Once he'd arrived his worries and doubts were swept away. It was nothing like the mountains! He could see the vast stretch of water and was that lionsbeach in the distance? Oh this was home! It was home, it was perfect!! Forget every bad thing he had said about moving camp here, the was their rightful place and starclan chose well!! Aspenpaw looked around for the freshkill pile before realising that it didn't exist yet, he'd just have to make his own. He ran over to a small dip in the ground and just dropped all he was carrying there. It worked for now,the older warriors could move it if they wished.

Dusklion informed them that she and berrypaw would be heading to starcave, whatever that was, for her leader name and Berrypaw full medicine cat name. Oh that great! He completely didn't realise that Berrypaw hadn't gotten her name yet, well she deserved it definitely! Dusklion then instructed two Lionhearts to form groups to collect moss for the nests in both the warriors and Apprentice dens. Oh yeah, ofcourse their dens wouldn't be completely furnished and waiting ready for them. Dumb aspenpaw use you brain. His mentor was already on her way over to to join one of the group's, what a good mentor. Not only had she picked to go with a respectable lionheart, unlike the one that instructed them to bring prey, but that lionheart also happened to be goldfish! Mari's mentor.

He liked goldfish, she was cool. Not only that, her being Marigoldpaw's mentor also ment that Mari would possibly be joining this moss collecting patrol too right! Well most likely, possibly.... hopefully? He really wanted to talk to her again, the last they had a real conversation was....um...back in the mountains? Did that count? It was just Mari congratulating him on his apprentice ceremony. Well either way, he had been too busy with training and he barely saw her around or made and effort to go find and talk to her. Which was stupid becuase clan relations was as important as training! Their last interaction had been Mari giving him a shell at gathering which he was truly grateful for becuase he loved the gift! But then she had run off immediately after and he hadn't even gotten to say hi, and in that moment it had kinda...hurt? He knew she was probably going to find someone she had planned to talk to or something and plus they could always talk back at camp. When he found the time too. It was still dissapointing though. He would make more of an effort this time round, new camp! New aspen!

«"Hey there, need a paw?"»

Those were the words he heard floodsight say as he approached her and Goldfish. "I'm a paw, you need me!" he said smugly as he joined the group, basically declaring he was coming with. Inviting himself because he could! Floodsight had scolded him earlier for something about throwing a shell at a lionheart. He didn't truly get what the scolding was for, all he had done was give his shell to the nearest cat to carry and Seabreeze wasn't even a real lionheart! He was probably going to get demoted in the next moon....but whatever. Floodsight was just a cranky old cat, he wouldn't put it past her to scold him for dumb things.
