They'd spent the day anxiously milling about the camp. Hoping that maybe, just maybe, someone would give them answers. But nothing came. He could dream up a million stories of what happened before he was born, of what made RiverClan what it was today, but how could he know if any of them were true? He found a small structure to nap on - one of those wooden twoleg things, 4 legs and a flat top. It was comfortable enough, then dozed off. It had become a comfort in these situations. Just like the pit stops on the way to the mountains, he'd nap. What else was there to do? What other way to quell spiralling emotions? When his eyes flickered open, the sky was turning red. Essentially, he'd slept the whole day away. Placing his chin on his little brown and white paws, he watched the sky. Clouds drifted across the pink and orange hues. This was nice. They didn't feel like thinking about the day's events, so they wouldn't. Well, that was the plan.

Dusklion appeared at the den entrance. It was almost as if she'd manifested out of the air, Seapaw definitely hadn't seen her approach.

So, that was it. Fadingstar was gone. Now they'd be led by Dusklion. The apprentice clambered to his paws, and pounced down off the structure. Prey - he could carry prey. He ambled on over to the prey pile, and picked up a big trout - that was all he could fit in his mouth. They knew they'd been told to stick with their mentor, but they couldn't see Oliverat around, not at the moment at least. As long as they stuck with the clan, they reckoned everything would be fine.

So, here they were again, moving home. Hopefully, this next one would last longer.
