Silentpaw felt as if he'd achieved something life-changing. He knew it was just the start, but he couldn't help but feel it was a once in a lifetime achievement. And Newtbelly had looked proud! He gave his mentor a nod before pausing at the hole he had made. Should he bury the mouse in the same hole, or should he make another hole? Shrugging internally, Silentpaw dropped his mouse into the already made hole, covering it and following Newtbelly to the edge wordlessly.

Now to Herondive Hollow. The foresty border. He padded along quietly -the quiet with Silentpaw was comfortable. As long as things continued this way, he was sure training the apprentice would be a breeze. Beneath their paws, the ground became considerably dryer, crunching underfoot, and above their heads the pines became denser. Then, they were there. In front of them, ran a rushing creek - not ideal for Shadow or Thunder. "This is Heron Dive Hollow," he explained, gazing around. "There's not really anything here. Ever." He moved on to mark the border, though he really wasn't sure how much it mattered in the presence of the creek. "I doubt ThunderClan would consider crossing a river, but it's worth marking anyway. That's what you'll be expected to do on border patrols." There wasn't much else to say about the place. It was dull and barren. Boring. The dark pines were certainly nice, though. "Any questions, let me know. Otherwise, we can move on."
