This new and unfamiliar place... Was startling, for a lack of better words. It was a structure he had never seen before, burnt away and overtaken by nature. Did cats often travel here? Silentpaw's eyes widened involuntarily, taking in the rather disturbing sight of an apparently once thriving place. Though, it didn't seem that horrible, given the fact that the fire that apparently burnt down this... Pile of whatever it was, were many moons ago. Still, no matter how disturbing it looked, it was so much better than the Darkwater Mire. It was... Less wetter.

There didn't seem to be any questions about this place either, Newtbelly was thankful for that. The clan stopped here last time they moved camps, so he was very familiar with the place, but he knew nothing of its history. He recalled the chaos of that move, trudging from place to place, Dawnstar injured. He even remembered an almost argument with Owlthroat - if he hadn't such respect for the tom's words, he figured it would have transpired into one. 'Steady Yourself'... He liked to hope he'd done that, taking the time to train apprentices during this quieter period. He'd had no chance to partake in the 3v1 against RiverClan, or any battles since then, but it'd given him time to refine his skills. Once he was finally released into the battlefield, he knew for sure he'd do Owlthroat proud. There wasn't much else to see here, so he turned tail, "any questions let me know,"
The tom began to walk to the Evergreen Grotto. He liked the Mourning Ruins, but the forests around here were certainly his preferred area. Some sun, some shade - it was a nice balance. Seen as it was still early morning, the beams the shimmered through the trees weren't too bright. "This is the Evergreen Grotto," he noted as he walked through the centre of the clearing. Normally, he'd prefer to stick under the canopy, avoiding the hot sun, but it wasn't too warm yet (and he reckoned he needed to feel some sunlight for once). "This place mostly attracts rodents, mice, rats, those kinds of things." Soon enough, they were stood right in front of the grotto. A shallow cave, fostering many herbs. Hopefully herbal knowledge wasn't of interest to Silentpaw, Newtbelly knew nothing of it. He'd harvested moss and dandelions before - that was it. "Lotsa herbs here. You don't have to worry about learning them all," well, it certainly was beneficial to, but Newtbelly didn't want to draw attention to his lack of knowledge. "If you get sent out on herb patrol, you'll be given a description of what you're looking for." That was true, at least. Surely most warriors learnt about herbs that way? Or was his mentor just very... Very much not the kind of cat to teach that?
"That's our central territory - all we've got left is the borders. This'll be a good place to hunt before we trek round those."
