Ah. So they were in the same boat. Adderstrike didn't know what she wanted to do, only that she wanted to do something. Deerspark just stared rather blankly at the warrior as his mind wandered. Had Adderstrike gotten ants in her pelt? Not like that was a bad thing, Deerspark was certain that being active was way better than being a mere pelt of a cat used for decoration (like him and his uselessness). Just when he was hatching an idea, Adderstrike was already skipping away like a rock skidding across water. Fast, loud, and stupid impressive. The lengthy warrior perked his head up, shifting his paws as he watched her scatter to the prey pile. He winced looking at the prey she held. Stars, that was the biggest darn rat... What do those things eat? CATS!? ACK, NO MORE THINKING! Oh goodie, more fear, yippieeee.

"Pond...?" Deerspark echoed, a small snicker of disbelief rippling through his wispy tone. Regardless, he followed Adderstrike, taking large strides in each pawstep. He was a bit delayed in his responses, but it's not like he interacted with social cats everyday. In fact, he mostly kept to himself, for obvious reasons. Would anycat really want a mumbling carrot as a friend? Yeah, he didn't think so.

"Okay..." He mewed, looking around camp one last time before dipping his head and exiting on Adderstrike's heels. Okay. Okay. They were out of camp now, uh, presumably to go to a stream. When was the last time he'd ever swam? Was it he lost the natural flow of it? Deerspark looked down at his paws and knit his eyebrows. Was it possible? They'd only been gone for two moons, that couldn't be enough to forget what he was doing since he was an apprentice. Right...?

Alright! She was able to steal a cat away to do her nefarious deeds! Having fun with other cats in her clan. True villainy scum activities for sure! Anyways as she walked towards the pond she saw a bee buzzing around. It flew around her ear a little but with a shake of her head the small buggy flew away. She wondered why those bugs enjoyed ears like that, the close and personal buzzing was rather annoying. Oh she must have looked silly, so she looked towards Deerspark and gave a muffled chuckle.

It was a little bit of a trek and this rat was feeling rather heavy in Adderstrike's jaw but she kept pressing on. She needed to train her muscles after all. With the promise of stronger jaws, the warrior regain her energy to press on! And finally she saw the small pond. It was her little secret spot only having shared it with another cat before. It was a seasonal pond and the heat of the sun was greedily drinking at the water. There was just enough left to have a drink. With that Adderstrike placed the rat down before sitting down. "Want the first bite?" She said with a soft smile.
