Sedgekit and Whistlekit sit in the nursery. Whistlekit is cleaning her pelt the best she can, wiping off and mud or dirt and gazing at herself in the reflection of a small, smooth stone. "I look pretty!" She purrs."Really pretty. I'm going to be the prettiest cat in Windclan!" Whistlekit makes an excited whistle.

Sedgekit is busy using his tongue to slowly lick the top of his littermate's head. He doesn't reply, only carefully arranging her fur in a way that satisfies him.

"I'm going to lokk for stones as pretty as I am!" Whistlekit declares, "We need more!"

His ears had only recently opened and he was still getting used to it, he had quite preferred the silence before. All this noise and chatting was annoying, he couldn't sleep. Small green eyes opened and glared at there surroundings. Oh well sleeping was boring anyway.

Sitting up, wobbly at first, the small tom watched the much bigger strangers running around. It was weird because they were also small, smaller than mamafire or fake mamafire or not mamafire? So confusing. His attention turned to the kits closest his family and not family's nest. They were bigger than him, so they were older. Curious eyes watched them as the girl one (ew girls) started yapping about being pretty to her brother. Jaggedkit looked at the tomkit waiting to see what his response to his sister's nonsense would be but he didn't. Come to think of it what was he doing?

Climbing out of his nest he took a few not very steady steps towards the other kits. "whas- wha T you is doin?" that sounded right? Yeah! Look at him talking, he talked way better then his littermates ever could. Yep.
