Mudslide was more than happy that Rookfire hadn't decided to fill the air with useless and uncomfortable conversation, it was probably one of the best things about this outing. The wet soil in the area was probably the closest Shadowclan would ever be to getting back in there marshy territory. It's not like she missed it, but feeling a wet undertone to the ground made her oddly nostalgic. It was weird but not entirely unwelcome?
Since Mudslide already had two clumps of moss in her jaws, she decided to give herself something a bit more interesting to look for. The only herbs she knew of were limited to three, including moss, and she had no idea what any of them did. Mudslide had never been inside of the medicine den, let alone treated, so she wouldn't know. That was unless Roachflare got injured in someway, then she'd be in there was much as that weird smelling Mossfreckle would let her. Which
should be constantly, but Mudslide didn't make the rules, and she didn't want to, not clan rules anyways. That just gave cats a reason to question her, the last thing she wanted.
The she-cat lingered around the bases of cedar trees, her blue eyes wide in her tireless search for anything remotely interesting and comfortably new. Then she saw something, tall and stalky and leaves that fanned out like a feather. Er... More like a tail. It was green and perhaps smelly enough to be considered a herb. Weirdly enough, it was somewhat sweet to her nose, a genuine surprise. Mudslide wasn't about to yell to get the enforcers attention, she just couldn't. So, she kneeled down and readied herself for success or failure.
ROLLING FOR HARVESTABILITY...

ROLLING FOR CONDITIONS...
MUDSLIDE ROLLED A 17

[+1 horsetail]
As all herbs, this one tasted absolutely horrible, so Mudslide tried her best to keep the herb as far away from her tongue as possible. "
Rookfire..." Mudslide whispered, her voice barely audible with the bundle of herbs in her jaws. Just encase the enforcer couldn't hear her (he was missing a whole entire ear, she couldn't imagine hearing would be easy) she raised a paw and nudged his good shoulder, and she did it twice. Goodness, she felt like a kit.
