Silkpaw was willing to admit that he jumped when Tigerpaw approached him, but he quickly settled. His fur lay against his frame once again as he took in deep, slow breaths.
He approached the younger apprentice, and his stomach dropped with the movement.
The dark furred apprentice was so much braver than he was, and very kind to try to comfort him.
How silly, that he as the older apprentice was the one that needed comfort.
He ducked his head, and his tail twitched.
"I'd appreciate it.... Thank you, Tigerpaw. I'm Silkpaw."
The lilac-point shuffled his paws, and he had to refrain from looking around. He knew if he saw it again, he'd likely lose whatever was left in his stomach from his last meal. Tigerpaw really didn't deserve to have to deal with that.
"I'd like to- to move a bit further away, if we could." He asked quietly.
