DAY 1

Starrykit was glad to have someone they could rely on. Sweetsap, the gentle queen who had milked the two siblings along with her own kit, would not leave them on this journey. She wouldn't, right?
Ah, she was already clinging to her as if she were her own mother, she thought. But in her, Starrykit saw safety and old memories. She briefly wondered if Elderkit had the same thoughts.

This whole thing, it seemed, was to start an enormously long walk toward the unknown. That she had understood roughly 15 minutes after starting the journey, but the kits were soon extremely tired and Starrykit had to stop, leaving Sweetsap and her kit in front of them.

"Elder...!" Oh, dammit. These were the cases where she forgot entirely that her sister had her new name. She'd just called her Elder, didn't she?
"Wait... wait for me!" She panted, collapsing on the ground with her four legs open wide. She stayed silent for a while, trying to catch her breath as fast as possible while the cats of Riverclan trailed beside them.

They had never had to move to another place so far away. Viper surely never did it, so why were these cats?
She used her front legs to sit back when she was finally ready to speak again.
"I don't want to go any further. I'm too tired to walk.." she pouted, knowing that her little sister would surely understand and maybe comfort her.
