Sooo.... they were all technically right about something? Huh, that's... boring. Oh well, at least they were finally getting to practice the actual moves! No more of this namby-pamby lecturing, it's time for what Hushpaw is really ready for!

As Crowtooth begins with the others, Hushpaw gets into his battle stance - making sure that he's not as low to the ground as before and tucking his tail in under himself. The stance feels strange and unfamiliar, but that's to be expected. Still, when Crowtooth finally rounds on him, he thinks he's ready, but the 'bite' to his neck catches him off guard. He'd been expecting a blow to the shoulders or something towards his face, so he ducks thinking that'll let him get away, only to find a blow come down on his back.

Strangely, that hit brings him just a little clarity, and he has a moment to think 'what the heck?' before reaching out with a forepaw to attempt to sweep Crowtooth off at least one foot on his way to the ground. He's not... the most confident it'll achieve anything but prove that he's stubborn, but that's not the point. The point is that he's trying to get a hit back.
