Hawkfur crested over the horizon just as Crowtooth collasped the praerie dog entrance, amusement glimmering in the red tom's gaze. He trotted over to his friend, giving him a wry grin. "What'd they do, bark at you?" He joked easily, leaping up onto the warm stone to join everyone. He dipped his head to Twilightstar before sliding to the warm stone with a sigh, stretching out his legs so his white toes trembled with the strain. Now fully stretched, Hawkfur began to groom his paws, as the fluffy fur in between his toes had begun to collect pollen and grass.

The sunlight was so warm, and the gentle breeze that brushed the grasses managed to ruffle his feathery fur just enough where he was kept comfortable. Most of Hawkfur's usual social anxiety had melted away with the good weather, though he still kept far enough away from the others so he wouldn't accidentally bump into them or get in their way.
