In all her life, she could’ve sworn that she hadn’t ever seen a cat become quite as giddy as Garlicfeather. She couldn’t place her tongue on it, but it was relatively odd seeing someone so pleased to have all members for a patrol around at once. It wasn’t like she encountered the same thing when she had to go on a patrol before with both Sloerush and whatever that other cat’s name was and those two never bothered to show up in the slightest. Either way, the mackerel tabby didn’t bother to intrude her thoughts into it, finding herself intrigued by the tom-cat’s consistent mention of the springs. Was the place really as relaxing as everyone stated? Given that she necessarily never gone to Haven Springs before, she wasn’t certain whether she wanted to believe some of the cat’s assumptions about how relaxing the springs were if she wanted to see it for herself. Going ahead and following Garlicfeather and Fallenwish toward the springs, it wasn’t hard for the apprentice to say that she was surprised at how… pretty the place looked.

She never really thought about her surroundings far too often, not really the type to explore and put herself in unnecessary danger. But, the absolute beauty of the place was the first thing to catch her attention. Not to mention, it was undoubtedly warm by the duo of hot springs that lay within the piece of territory. Her paws itched as she began to explore the springs, already being awfully careful about crossing the worn down twoleg bridge as she made her way towards the area. Whiskers twitching, the molly listened to Garlicfeather’s words as the tom ordered for her to stay near the duo. It wasn’t like she was the type to run off like some other specific apprentices. She wasn’t the kind of cat to just run off without any sort of warning. Even with the uncurling frustration within her gut, the mackerel tabby shook it off as she waved her tail toward the feline. “Don’t worry ‘bout it. I’ll stay close.” She flashed a smug grin before setting off to search for the herb, blessed thistle is what she thought it was. Strange name for a strange-looking herb, she supposed. Wrinkling her nose, the tabby nosed her way through some bushes, finding some prickly-looking stalks that she presumed fit the description of blessed thistle. It's better to stay safe than sorry.

Collecting a couple of the stalks, her tongue instinctively drew back as she carried the bundle of herbs towards Garlicfeather, noting a piece of moss and instinctively using her claws to scrape some to collect a small portion of the green plant. Moss would be useful for cleansing out dirt and blood from wounds and for some nice bedding, right? At least, that was what she thought.
