It seemed like Wrenpaw was struggling in the water, which wasn't great. It was common for newer swimmers to have a hard time adjusting to a faster current. Getting the basics down was easy; transforming them into advanced skills was a lot harder.
But, this was a great way for them to kill two birds with one stone. They'd get some advanced swimming covered, along with some in-water hunting. "Remember the basics and don't panic!" he called. "Pull with your front, push with your back. Use your tail to stabilize yourself and turn." Once he saw that she had a handle on the swimming, he'd move on to something more complex.
