Salmonleap understood why she was stuttering. She was talking to a cat from another clan, generally considered wrong. "Well, I'm not gonna bite. There's nothing wrong with chatting." Salmonleap smiled. "It's not my general approach either. I'm more of a rule follower. But even I need to step outside the boundary a little. Nothing says we can't talk politely. That's a nice name, Meadowpelt."
