Heronpaw had made it her job to follow her grandmother swiftly out of camp. The Hier grounded her wandering mind with her steady pawsteps. The six moon Shecat was often looking back to see if Sunny followed after but she had told her leader that she needed to branch out. Heronpaw looks back one final time before watching the huge shecat make her way to the large stone. The stories of the truce now coming to light as Heronpaw dug her claws into the sand. Her weight shifts unexpectedly on the pale surface as she moves forward, a wave of panic overcomes her internally.

The apprentice tries to instantly move on. Forcing her mask of confidence over her true emotions once more. Uncomfortable sounds and no real promise of a truce. What a way to start her training. Heronpaw picks a slot very close to the seastones, on the side Shadowclan had come from. She could get Sunny and escape in an instant.
