Willowpaw's jaw dropped gently as she looked at her mentors figure disappear. "Starclan help me" the small apprentice muttered. Even though she was the second oldest apprentice she looked like a fresh 6 moon old apprentice. Willowpaw opened her jaws and after padding for a bit eventually saw a water vole, crouching, her brown pelt blending in with the bark, she crept forward and grabbed the Water vole in a graceful leap, she snapped its neck and buried it. Willowpaw saw Summerpaw with his mentor and waved a warm greeting with her tail. Hearing Summerpaw call out, Willowpaw explained she was doing her assesment and was wished a warm good luck lick, turning a bit red Willowpaw padded to the waters edge. She leaned over back kept her tail back so she could hide her shadow. "One... two...three" She whispered, lashing out her paw as it made to sound other than a tiny splash, a large carp landed beside her as she snapped its spine, after a good bit she'd snatched up a few minnows and two more carps, missing a third with a tiny hiss. "Darn it" She whispered. Stalking from her prey to another water vole, she blinked and flicked her tail upwards. Her shadow on the ground looked like it came from the other side and scared the water vole straight into her paws, snapping it's spine she sniffed.
